How to Find Happiness

Happiness, the word the we all have seen but have not really found the meaning behind it. What is happiness? Well, many people will have different definition of what happiness is, but in my perception happiness is being content in the situation you're in and to create positive thoughts by finding peace within yourself and surroundings. Happiness also incorporates finding personal satisfaction in things that you do daily.

One thing that needs to be emphasized is that happiness does not mean that there is no negative thoughts. Negative thoughts are like the viruses that are bugged in our brains to defeat the positive thoughts that we experience. Our purpose is to try and defeat those negative thoughts and build positive thoughts as much as we can. I agree building positive mindset can be hard sometimes but you must always remember that everything starts with YOU. Believe in yourself enough to build a positive environment and mindset.

I am not sure if you have heard of "Laws of Attraction." It is basically the belief that you attract what you think. Some people refer to it being similar to gravitational force. This phenomenon states that by focusing on positive and negative thoughts we tend to bring those experiences and energy within our lives and surroundings. This law can also be witnessed as energy attracts energy, for example positive thoughts attract positive energy and negative energy attracts negative.

Numerous people have found success and happiness by applying positive thoughts in their lives. Some things to always remember when finding happiness or being happy are:

1. Find happiness in the present moment. Live in the moment and learn to enjoy what you have.

2. Take time out and learn to have fun.

3. Try spending time outside doing things, for example by exploring new things and learning new things.

4. Get out of the comfort zone that you have built. Happiness starts where your comfort zone ends.

5. Spend time connecting with your family & friends but importantly the elderly. I can't stress enough how much peace you will attain by spending time with the elderly, it takes you into a whole new generation where relations meant something real.

6. Be yourself, live your life, screw what others think and just live in the moment before it is gone.

7. Write down your dreams and goals to remember them and take steps to achieve them.

8. Whenever a negative thought comes in your mind, try to incorporate with one positive thought about the situation.

9. MEDITATE. This is so important, learn to meditate and relax and clear your mind. Trust me the difference this makes is incredible. It definitely makes you have positive thoughts and therefore you attract similar energy (LAWS OF ATTRACTION)

10. Recognize one thing daily that you love about yourself. Love yourself before you love someone else.

11. Keep your values in check always. Remember them and build yourself with them. A high value person is happier and it is a very important element.

These are some of the steps to finding happiness. Always remember you attract what you think and believe in. Smile,and learn to be happy in your own ways. Make new friends meet new people. Learn to appreciate the little things in your life. Try new things, explore and go on adventures, this is how you will grow as a person.
